De laatste versie hebben Lokman I. Meho and Kiduk Yang op 26 jan 2007 als Word document onder een andere titel gepaatst in Dlist: 'Impact of Data Sources on Citation Counts and Rankings of LIS Faculty: Web of Science vs. Scopus and Google Scholar'.
Op hun eigen site hebben ze wel een pdf gezet.
De conclusie is eigenlijk: 'The use of Scopus and GS, in addition to WoS, helps reveal a more accurate and comprehensive picture of the scholarly impact of authors' .
Je dient ze dus alledrie in ogenschouw te nemen. Ze hbben 10.000 'citing documents' bekeken, en daar 3300 uur over gedaan! Niet een klusje voor een zondagmiddag.
